Staffmark in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced warehouse operations. You will receive, pick, pack, sort, stage, load, and unload products, ensuring accurate inventory and timely shipments while following safety protocols.

The role involves operating a sit-down forklift, performing pre-shift inspections, and handling packaging, labeling, and light housekeeping tasks in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

Location: Cleveland, TN
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: 5 AM – 3:30 PM | Overtime as needed

Job Duties

• Wash large containers
• Operating a sit-down Mitsubishi forklift
• Completing forklift pre-shift inspections
• Changing propane tanks
• Palletizing and packaging chemical products
• Printing and applying labels
• Taking out trash and performing light housekeeping duties

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
• Steel-toed shoes are required
