Warehouse Associates at AutoZone are key players in the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring the effective flow of goods in and out. They handle a variety of tasks, from receiving shipments to packing orders, always focusing on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities :

• Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy.
• Handle the distribution and storage of all warehouse items, ensuring they are stored in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Pick, pack, and scan orders according to company standards for delivery to stores or shipment to customers.
• Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles.
• Work closely with the inventory team to perform periodic counts and ensure stock levels on the system are up to date.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse role preferred but not essential; on-the-job training will be provided.
