Job summary

Continental in Rochester, NY is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, pick/pack orders, and manage inventory with FIFO. You will work with iPads and the LightSpeed system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic math, and strong communication. Candidates should be able to stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Experience with warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack orders using iPad/LightSpeed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO.
  • Load and unload trucks for routes.
  • Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Read schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
  • Record inventory counts and discrepancies.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Experience You’ll Create

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily warehouse operations.

  • Accurately pick and pack orders using technology (e.g., iPad, LightSpeed system).
  • Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
  • Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
  • Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Read schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders.
  • Record accurate inventory counts of products picked, packed, scrapped, and excess.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
