Job summary

Continental Services' Jackson location is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including accurate picking/packing, FIFO inventory, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

The role offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour with a $1.00 premium after 4 PM and on Sundays, with a Sunday-Thursday shift from 2 PM until done. A High School Diploma or GED and warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Comfortable using technology (iPads, inventory systems).
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to operate or learn electric pallet jack; forklift certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders using technology (iPad, LightSpeed).
• Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO.
• Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
• Replenish stock and keep work area clean and organized.
• Read schedules and documents to determine items to move or distribute.
• Record inventory counts and report discrepancies.

The Experience You'll Create:

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily warehouse operations.

Compensation

• Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
• +$1.00/hour after 4 PM & on Sundays

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 2 PM until done

• Accurately pick and pack orders using technology (e.g., iPad, LightSpeed system).
• Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
• Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Read schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders.
• Record accurate inventory counts of products picked, packed, scrapped, and excess.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
