PGW Auto Glass is seeking a Warehouse Employee to handle, store, and distribute automotive glass products. You will receive shipments, organize inventory, fulfill orders, and maintain quality control to prevent damage in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to operate or learn forklifts and other equipment. You will work as part of a team, follow OSHA guidelines, and contribute to accurate records with our warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehouse or logistics is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Detail oriented with inventory accuracy.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of automotive glass and related materials.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure glass products are free from defects and meet company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and participate in cycle counts.
• Follow proper handling and safety procedures to minimize product damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and properly storing materials.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to ensure efficient operations.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Use of safety PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots as required.
• Handling fragile automotive glass products requiring precision and caution.
• Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.
