Job summary

The PGW Auto Glass Warehouse is seeking a detail-oriented team member to handle, store, and distribute automotive glass products in a safe, fast-paced environment. You will receive shipments, manage inventory, fulfill orders, and help maintain quality control to prevent damage.

Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, can lift up to 75 pounds, and work well in a team. This is a part-time position with opportunities to learn forklift operation and OSHA safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse or logistics experience, especially handling fragile materials, is a plus.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow established procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of automotive glass and related materials.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders .
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure glass products are free from defects and meet company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and participate in cycle counts.
• Follow proper handling and safety procedures to minimize product damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and properly storing materials.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to ensure efficient operations.

• Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.
