About the Role

As a Warehouse Associate at ELGi, you will support the parts and service teams by assisting in the assembly, testing, and inspection of industrial compressors, as well as performing shipping and receiving duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist assembly technicians in assembling, testing, and inspecting industrial compressors
• Receive shipments; examine contents and verify against records for accuracy
• Prepare equipment for shipment, including packaging and documentation
• Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts and load/unload freight
• Maintain warehouse safety and organization, ensuring pathways and exits are clear
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and team-oriented mindset

Working Conditions

• Frequently lift/move up to 45 pounds; regularly lift up to 25 pounds
• Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, and communicate regularly; climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
