Job description

RATE OF PAY: $22 per hr. + quarterly bonus opportunities

Warehouse Associate

A warehouse associate is responsible for coordinating distribution activities of the depot, including receiving, loading, cleanliness, and fleet upkeep. The role reports directly to the facility leaders.

Primary Job Responsibilities

1. Shipping materials to customers.
2. Weekly receiving of cooking oil tanker trucks.
3. Executing daily Standard Sanitary Operating Procedures.
4. Compiling Corporate return orders.
5. Monitoring daily warehouse inventories such as cooking oil and mechanical parts, and identifying items needed.
6. Maintaining fleet upkeep, including adherence to maintenance schedules, loading daily routes, and routine cleaning of the facility.
7. Participating in and contributing to the Safety Goals for the facility.
8. Verifying delivery truck flow meters regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance, calibrating meters outside acceptable tolerances, and conducting biannual calibrations for new and existing trucks.
9. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
10. Must be 21 years of age.
11. Valid driver’s license required.
12. Ability to use a smartphone.
13. Meet Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
14. Ability to carry a minimum of 50 pounds by hand over several hundred yards using a cart.
15. Strong organizational skills.
16. Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, reach, and climb ladders up to 20 feet.
17. Ability to interpret documents and make suggestions based on information provided.
18. Effective goal prioritization and execution skills.
19. Ability to partner with internal customers and provide excellent customer service.
20. Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous warehouse experience.
2. CDL license.
