Job summary

Plaza Tire Service, Cape Girardeau, MO, is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Distribution Center to stock, pick and deliver tires and supplies. You will maintain inventory, assist in loading and unloading tires, and ensure orderly warehouse operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires lifting 60–130 lbs repeatedly, standing for long periods, and working five days a week, Monday through Saturday. A valid driver’s license and basic warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess current and valid driver’s license.
• Driving experience in medium trucks preferred.
• Must be able to lift 60-130lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work 5 days between Monday-Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse maintenance.
• Stocking, picking, pulling, sweeping, and organizing.
• Maintaining the warehouse and its inventory.
• Delivery of tires and supplies.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Warehouse Manager.

Plaza Tire Service handles the inventory needs of its store locations and wholesale customers through the Cape Girardeau Distribution Center. As a Warehouser, you will be stocking and maintaining the warehouse, working hands on with all day-to-day functions of the warehouse and delivering tires and supplies.

COMPENSATION: $18/ hour

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Warehouse Associate will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside.

The Warehouse Associate must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move 60-130 pounds repetitively
