Job summary

TBC Corporation, a leading distributor in the mobility and automotive service space, is seeking a full-time warehouse associate in Burien, WA. You will operate material handling equipment, stock and retrieve inventory, and help ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

Ideal candidates have experience with RF scanners, MHE, and lifting up to 50 lbs. This role offers a path within a large, established organization with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MHE (Material Handling Equipment) safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge.
  • Unload and put-away product using RF technology.
  • Inspect inbound for overages/shortages.
  • Pick and stage product.
  • Load trucks.
  • Keep warehouse organized.
  • Assist center to optimize operations and customer service.
  • Participate in cycle counts or physical inventories.

Our DC Associate will perform operational activities within Distribution Center warehouse to achieve efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, and efficient and accurate receipt of delivery of replenishment product.

Responsibilities

In this friendly work environment you will be responsible for:

  • Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
  • Unload and put-away product utilizing RF (radio frequency) technologyÂÂ
  • Inspect inbound for OSD (overages and shortages)
  • Pick and stage product
  • Load truck(s)
  • Maintain organization of product in the warehouse.
  • Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability.
  • Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC.
  • Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations
  • Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager
  • Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
  • Other duties as assigned or requested

Requirements:

  • Experience with RF scanners preferred
  • Safety 1st Mentality
  • Prior material handling equipment experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
  • Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
