Job summary

Come join Cencora in Buford, GA, as a warehouse associate. Under direct supervision, you will manage the flow of materials and products, performing duties from stocking to outbound shipping while upholding safety and distribution standards.

Shifts are Monday–Friday starting at 7am at 3930 Mason Mill Rd, Buford, GA. Pay starts at $19.00 with potential up to $23.03 based on earning opportunities, including incentives and bonuses. Must have a high school diploma and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Willingness to work overtime and in a fast-paced warehouse.
  • Prior warehouse or distribution experience preferred (1 year or less).
  • Experience using RF scanning equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Order fulfillment: stocking, restocking, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and research discrepancies.
  • Use equipment to track, monitor, and verify products for distribution.
  • Maintain a clean work area to keep products clean and safe.
  • Verify product received against documents and report discrepancies.

Summary of role:

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees of automation according to established standards. Performs in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Order fulfillment - stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.
  • Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies.
  • Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution.
  • Maintain a clean work area to keep pharmaceutical products and merchandise clean and help prevent work related injuries.
  • Verify product received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages (dependent on shift assignment).
Shift and location:

Monday-Friday 7am-complete | 3930 Mason Mill Rd, Buford, GA 30518

Pay:

Pay starting at $19.00 with potential for up to $23.03 based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Skills and knowledge:
  • Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
  • Ability to read and understand the English language
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
  • Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
  • Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
  • Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
  • Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)
  • Able to work with RF scanning equipment
Physical requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
  • Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
