Sangoma, a leading provider of business communications solutions, is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team and support key operations in shipping, receiving, and inventory management. In this hands-on role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring products are received accurately, orders are fulfilled efficiently, and inventory is maintained with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Inventory:

  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies
  • Accurately document returns, RMAs, and purchase order details
  • Reconcile received items in inventory management software
  • Shelve and organize stock to maintain an orderly inventory space
  • Communicate product weight and dimensions for system updates

Order Fulfillment & Packing:

  • Pull daily sales orders and prioritize based on urgency
  • Confirm item accuracy and identify potential shortages
  • Prepare items for packing and ensure secure, organized boxing
  • Record package dimensions for streamlined shipping

Shipping Operations:

  • Label and process outgoing shipments accurately
  • Print customer invoices and prepare packages for carriers
  • Coordinate loading and unloading with drivers
  • Generate shipment quotes as needed

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate records in inventory and order management systems
  • Monitor shared inboxes and assist with interdepartmental communications
  • Help with ordering supplies and updating warehouse documentation
  • Support training initiatives and process improvements

Additional Duties:

  • Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
  • Participate in routine equipment training and maintenance
  • Keep work areas clean and ready for the next day's tasks
  • Take on special projects and assist with team needs as assigned


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional warehouse training or certification is a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics
  • Good understanding of inventory management systems and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy packages as needed
  • Basic computer skills; experience with barcode scanners or inventory software is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
