1. OBJECTIVE / GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Understand and maintain a working knowledge of Stein Distributing total distribution and warehousing objectives and guidelines.
• Insure the upkeep, cleanliness, and security of facility. Always promote safety.

1. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure a high level of performance of in-house personnel, including receiving, rotation (LIFO), accuracy, and proper operation of the equipment.
• Do daily physical inventory count of product and deposit items. Tax off destroyed, unusable products.
• Respond to the sales office and delivery special requests immediately. Emphasis on Customer Service.
• Transfer cooperage to north warehouse.
• Help with picking and loading On-Premise Bar routes.
• Ensure cardboard and plastic bales on done weekly.
• Check-in returning route drivers.

III. SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience/Requirements:

• Positive and professional attitude.
• Must be capable of lifting 165 lbs. and be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently and repetitively.
• Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, squat, sit, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Forklift certified.
