Job summary

InProduction is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate in Bohemia, NY. You will handle shipments, inspect products, and prepare orders for loading. The role requires basic fabrication tasks, driving/operating delivery vehicles, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Bi-lingual Spanish/English is preferred, with forklift experience and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. A high school diploma is required along with background and drug screening, and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically.
• Check products for defects and accuracy.
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance.
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
• Pull orders from shelves and secure onto pallets.
• Maintain safe and orderly environment of facilities.
• May assist on local job-sites for building and tearing down structures.

This is a full time, direct hire position. We are looking for a team player! Candidates should be diligent, hardworking and have a positive attitude.

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically
• Check products for defects and accuracy
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Pull orders from shelves, and then place and secure onto pallet
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment in need of maintenance
• Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
• Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• May occasionally help on local job-sites (building and tearing down of structures and loading of trucks)
• Some basic fabrication duties such as drilling, cutting and other tasks.
• Other duties as required

Required license or certification:

• Forklift License Preferred
  

Education Requirements:

• High school or equivalent

Compensation:

• $19-$21 Hourly
• Overtime Pay

Requirements:

• Pass background check and drug screening requirements
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Familiar with basic hand tools
• Pay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipment
• Able to work overtime occasionally
• Able to read and understand safety instructions
• Forklift experience and license preferred
• Willing to complete forklift training preferred
• Experience with the loading and unloading of trucks preferred (flat-beds and/or trailers)
• Small engine repair and maintenance skills preferred but not required
• Stand continuously for long periods of time
• Able to repeatedly lift-up to 75Ibs
