Job summary

QXO in Bethesda, MD is seeking a dependable warehouse operator to load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and other heavy equipment. This full‑time role requires working outdoors, following safety protocols, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will work Monday–Friday from 6:30am until the job is finished, with possible overtime or weekend hours. A customer‑first mindset, reliability, and the ability to communicate clearly with teammates and vendors are essential, and Spanish

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred.
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable with physically demanding work and early morning hours.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard.
• Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets).
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE.
• Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting.

What You\'ll Do

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday
• 6:30am until work is done, around 4pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT/weekends as needed
