Job summary

The Aaron's Company, Inc. is hiring for an entry-level warehouse role in Benbrook, TX. You will assist with loading/unloading, sorting, stocking, and order picking while adhering to safety rules and training. No forklift experience is required initially, but certification may be provided.

We offer competitive hourly pay of $17 to $17.50, plus benefits and a supportive, team-oriented environment. The role involves occasional weekend shifts and exposure to warehouse conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse environment is a plus.
• OSHA or powered industrial truck certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload Aaron’s inventory from trucks.
• Sort and stock products per management instructions.
• Work in multiple warehouse departments as needed.
• Operate equipment only with Aaron’s PIT training and certification.

The salary range for this role is $17 to $17.50 per hour.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of Aarons inventory on and off trucks
• Product sorting and stocking as directed by management and/or supervisor and in accordance with organizational standards
• May work in any dept. within the warehouse at any time during the day
• No Forklift experience required. May or may not operate equipment, determined by management and operates equipment only with Aarons provided PIT training completion and certification
• Labeling and serialization of product
• Picking and staging of product for shipping as directed and in accordance with generated reports
• Operation of RF scanners as necessary and as directed by management and/or supervisors
• Knowledge of and maintain compliance with Aarons Safety Rules – Training is provided
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

Required Education, Experience, And Certifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in warehouse environment is a plus

Required Skills And Competencies

• Previous OSHA or employee certification for powered industrial truck operation
• Primary skills would include experience with counterbalance forklift with carton clamp attachment and order picker
• Good communication skills
