Job summary

Armor Animal Health is seeking a Shipping & Inventory Associate to assist under the guidance of the Shipping Supervisor. You will invoice customers, generate shipment manifests, pull and pack products, apply RX labels when required, and ensure accurate labeling and stocking of received inventory.

The role involves operating a forklift and various shipping tools, maintaining accuracy, and supporting LEAN processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with basic math and computer operations.
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret pick tickets and write emails.
  • Accurate math skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Invoice customers for shipped products using shipping software.
  • Track packages via UPS, Speedee, and FedEx.
  • Pull products from shelves and package for shipping.
  • Apply RX labels when required and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Label and stock shelves with new inventory; support LEAN tasks.
  • Pull orders for routes, prepare store and customer orders, and assist inventory prep.

Job description

Under the guidance of the Shipping Supervisor, this associate will be responsible for invoicing and manifesting shipments and/or deliveries, accurately pulling and packing products shipped to customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Accurately invoice customers for products being shipped using computerized shipping software• Track packages through UPS, Speedee and Fed Ex.• Accurately pulling products from shelves• Applying RX labels to applicable product to ensure regulatory compliance• Carefully packaging product to be shipped to our customers• Labeling and stocking shelves with newly received products• LEAN processes: dusting, sweeping, organizing ice packs.Marginal Functions• Pull orders for the route department.• Pull and pack store orders and carry out orders for customers as necessary• Perform light assembly / light production work and other projects• Assist with inventory and inventory prep• Other duties as assignedQualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Other skills and Abilities: Ability to operate a computer, fork-lift certified, work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and work under pressure. Farm experience and animal health knowledge a plus. Ability to follow directions, prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and work independently.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle or touch objects; reach above shoulders; talk and hear.The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds up to waist level.
