Job summary

Kelly Services in Baytown, TX is seeking a Picker and Packer for a temporary to hire role. Pay is $16/hr with hours Monday–Friday 6:00am until finish, potential overtime on peak Saturdays.

Work is in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment requiring physical activity. Responsibilities include loading/unloading 40-50 foot containers, selecting and packing orders, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Capable of working in a non-climate-controlled environment (exposure to heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
• Able to perform and remain focused until load is completed
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations is preferred
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

Hours: Mon – Fri 6:00am – Finish (can be 6pm-7pm during peak plus mandatory overtime on Saturdays, currently in peak time)

Job Description:

The Picker and Packer is responsible for efficiently loading and unloading 40-50 foot containers in a busy distribution center environment. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting. The work environment is not climate controlled, so the ability to work in varying temperatures is essential.

• Load and unload 40-50 foot containers accurately and efficiently
• Pick, pack, and process orders according to quality and safety standards
• Lift, carry, and move merchandise and materials as required—potentially up to 50 lbs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
