Warehouse Associate Responsibilities

Our warehouse associate will handle the shipping and receiving of internal and external customer's cylinders and hard good products from vendors. You will track private cylinders to assure the accuracy of fills and returns, and handle all cylinder needs in a manner that serves the best interest of both the customer and Airgas. You will also pull orders from inventory for delivery and maintain proper inventory items on hand. Physically unload cylinders from route and transfer trucks while also inspecting all product for quality and safety adherence. Notify manager immediately with any safety defects or concerns with cylinders or other products. Maintain SAP system with shipping and receiving of all hard goods and cylinders. Reconcile any discrepancies with inventory items on hand. Communicate any discrepancies with the branch manager. Stock shelves with hard goods received. Maintain organization and good housekeeping of warehouse for the branch.


Required Qualifications


  • Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain appropriate forklift certifications.

  • Must be able to work in a drug free environment.

  • Must be able to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documents.

  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.


Preferred Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum one year experience working in a warehouse environment.

  • Strong computer skills using SAP, MS Office and Google products.
