AFC Industries seeks a Warehouse Associate (Shipping) to join our distribution team in Altoona, IA. You will handle receiving, stocking, locating and packing materials, and prepare shipments for UPS or trucks, following quality standards and using our ERP system.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience and can lift 50+ pounds, stand for 8 hours, and communicate effectively with team members. This role offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Warehouse Associate (Shipping)

What you'll be doing:

Our warehouse associates are responsible for:

• Receiving incoming material from suppliers
• Stocking shelves and pallet racks
• Locating and pulling material for customer orders
• Efficiently packing material in boxes for UPS or pallets for truck shipments
• Completing documentation, adhering to quality standards for all warehouse processes
• Processing shipments in our ERP system and other tasks as assigned.
• Forklift/Standup picker, RF scanner, picking, receiving, and shipping experience a plus.

What you need:

• You will need to be a team player, take direction and strictly follow instructions
• Able to lift 50+ pounds, stand for 8 hours in a warehouse environment
• Shipping/Receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
• Computer skills and to be able to communication effectively.
• Must have 2+ years of forklift experience.

Work Hours: 7AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday

Hourly Pay: $20.00
