Cuisine Solutions Inc. in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will receive, store, and ship inventory, loading and unloading trucks and keeping precise records in our system.

Responsibilities include loading shipments, handling fragile items, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. A high school diploma and basic forklift experience are expected, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiar with forklift operation and basic computer skills.
• Some experience in a similar role preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lb and work in cold/freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and track shipments.
• Load merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
• Handle fragile merchandise with care.
• Document shipment quantities, conditions, arrivals, and departures.
• Prepare orders for shipment/transfers.
• Record Hold, Aged, Damaged merchandise items.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Associate

SUMMARY

Report to the Warehouse Manager. A Warehouse Associate, is responsible for receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to orders in the system. Duties include loading and unloading trucks and sea containers, organizing incoming stock, ensure all the orders are shipped in full.

Work Shifts

Tuesdays through Saturdays 5am-1:30pm; Training is Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm for 2-3 weeks

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School or equivalent

• Familiar with Forklift Operation
• Basic computer skills
• Some experience in a similar role
• Able to lift 50LB.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solver

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and track shipments
• Flexible work schedule- possible weekend(s)
• Load merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
• Track and document exact shipment quantity, conditions, arrival, and departure times. Report any missing or extra merchandise
• Prepare all orders for shipment/Transfers
• Record and manage all Hold, Aged, Damaged, etc. merchandise items
• Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
• Maintain a safe and clean work area

• Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
