Job summary

Westrock Coffee is seeking a Warehouse -- Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and internal movement of products. The role uses forklifts, barcode scanning, and powered lift equipment to manage inventory and fulfill transfer orders.

Primary responsibilities include ensuring timely production material availability, performing RF transactions for tracking, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in alignment with OSHA and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year forklift operator experience.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to use basic math skills.
• 2+ years of powered lift truck experience preferred.
• 2+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
• Ability to follow a schedule, as well as verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate comfortably and work with co-workers in a team environment.
• Functions and operates comfortably in a very active and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor to determine production materials that will be needed.

• Pick, stage and stock inventory using a powered lift truck while utilizing barcode scanning technology to execute transactions.

• Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management

Job description

The Warehouse -- Material Handler is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties including but not limited to; shipping and receiving, loading, and unloading products from trailer and moving it within the warehouse by carrying or lifting, as well as operating forklifts, stocking and storing warehouse inventory, and fulfilling transfer orders as necessary while ensuring accuracy and timelines of all job functions.
