Job summary

Hawaii Energy Connection is seeking a Warehouse Associate to coordinate activities and operations within the warehouse, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

You will handle shipping/receiving, inventory control, forklift operations, and fleet support while collaborating with team members across departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid State Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Load and unload products for shipping/receiving.
• Inspect, stock, and distribute inventory accurately.
• Operate forklift safely as required.
• Support fleet operations and vehicle fueling as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate who is interested in working with a dynamic team to coordinate activities and operations within the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Warehouse: Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Shipping/Receiving: Loading and offloading of product
• Inventory: Receipt, stocking, and distribution of product
• Forklift operation
• Fleet: Operation and fueling of vehicles as requested
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CONPETENCIES

• Verbal and written flency in English
• Intermediate technology skills
• Ability to follow procedure and troubleshoot toward solutions
• Ability to effectively communicate within the team and with other departments

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Noise level in the work environment is usually low most of the day
• Ability to move within the warehouse, climb ladders, reach for shelved items, squat down, and handle tight spaces
• Able to lift and carry 30 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Possess a valid State Driver's License and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years work experience in a warehouse setting
• Ability to obtain a DOT Certification to operate flat bed and box truck vehicles
• Ability to obtain a Forklift Certification / Re-certification training offered by company
• Solar and Electrical knowledge and/or experience
