Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a warehouse picker/packer to count pallets and keep precise records of inventory for outbound shipments. The role involves forklift operation where applicable, receiving and storing items, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

You will work with the night shift team to ensure accurate pallet configuration and timely deliveries. Candidate must be able to pass forklift skills tests if required and meet basic warehouse literacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable).
  • Counting inventory and tracking in-bound/out-bound inventory using basic math.
  • Understanding SKU configuration and pallet loading requirements.
  • Ability to follow process controls and meet quality standards under deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility for DSD delivery.
  • Count floor and truck inventories.
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and orderly manner (if applicable).
  • Receive and store incoming items according to warehouse standards.

PBNA $ / hourCounts truck inventory and keeps accurate records of finished goods transported out of the facility for sales delivery or distribution to another warehouse. Certify each pallet for accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility and maintains appropriate records. Position is responsible for primary understanding configuration, number of cases on pallet & certifying the pallets and loads that are transported out of facility for DSD Delivery. Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable). Position requires climbing onto trailers and route trucks, reaching and pushing cases weighing 20-45 pounds. Position often operates independently with minimal supervision.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Keep accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility for DSD delivery
  • Count floor and truck inventories
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and orderly manner (if applicable)
  • Receive and store incoming items according to warehouse standards
  • Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handled & assist in nightly inventory count
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned area ( yard and warehouse)
  • Maintain records of daily checklist
  • Demonstrate communication, customer service and conflict resolution with peers
  • Ensure adherence to audit standards for process control and documentation (, checking/certifying product, following process controls, meeting quality standards with tight deadlines, etc.)
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
  • Track each load accurately, count pallets accurately, & maintain pace of pallet configuration
  • Coordinate picker & loader team with coordination of resources for the night
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 18 years or older
  • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable)
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
  • Counting inventory (, tracking in-bound/out-bound inventory using basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, etc.)
  • Controlling inventory (, counting the level of inventory on the shop floor or locating or tracking products in the warehouse)
  • Process control and documentation (, checking/certifying product, following process controls, meeting quality standards with tight deadlines, etc.)
  • Working in a warehousing environment (, understanding SKU configuration, understanding the number of cases on pallets and the number of pallets on rows, operating consistently with safety standards, understanding pick aisles and warehouse layout, etc.) Working with computers (, operating hand-held remote devices, building and working with spreadsheets and gate logs that show movement of products in and out of a facility, etc.)
