BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for performing and completing the warehouse functions for shipping, receiving, and preparing items be transferred to the vending programs.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with present Warehouse Manager to perform daily functions: Shipping, Receiving, preparing items to be transferred to vending program.
• Make local deliveries and be able to restock vending machines in Greater Central Ohio area
• Periodically make deliveries to a Buckeye warehouse approximately 2 hours away.
• Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
• Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or the equivalent required.

SKILLS

• Computer Literate: Be able to learn the present Buckeye Industrial enterprise software in order to do shipping and receiving. Learn the vending software in order to restock and take inventory.
• Detailed Oriented
• Be able to work independently on the days that the manager is out
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Lift and carry up to 60lb boxes
• Must have a clean driving record and be insurable for driving company

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 20% of the time may be required.

Compensation starting at $18.17 - $22.21/hr depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
