Job summary

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, and process inbound goods receipts.

• Pull orders, kit parts, and deliver to shipping or production areas.
• Maintain clean, organized shelves and storage locations; ensure safety and PPE compliance.
• Assist in inventory discrepancy investigations and routine paperwork.
• Rotate between Shipping and Receiving and participate in special projects.

Job description

• Perform varied warehousing duties including: *Assisting in the unloading, sorting, processing inbound goods receipts *Performing labeling, stocking, and put-away activities *Parts selection, order assembly, and delivery directly to shipping area *Order pulling, parts kitting and delivery directly to production areas *Maintaining and replenishingpoint-of-use storage locations *Practicing excellent housekeeping, organization and safe handling practices *Assist in inventory discrepancy investigations *Scheduled rotation and operation in either Shipping or Receiving Departments *Active participation in special projects and assignments
• Maintains high quality service by strictly following organizational procedures and standards. Completes all necessary paperwork, and processes systems transactions in a timely and highly accurate manner. Demonstrates a strong desire to ensure compliance to required dates and proactively resolves potential roadblocks and concerns that risk noncompliance to date requirements.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and well organized. *Maintains effective and safe materials storage requirements by continually sorting, segregating, cleaning, organizing and protecting goods in storage locations. *Compiles with all procedures, rules, and regulations for the safe and effective handling and storage of inventory including compliance to appropriate PPE and ESD handling procedures.
• Work effectively and efficiently in a cooperative team environment. Must be positive, flexible, willing and able to assist in all materials handling functions. Must communicate effectively to provide solutions to internal Customers in downstream, dependent processes.

**Open to Senior Warehouse Assistant position as well, pending direct experience. Pay Range up to $24.98**

Education

High School or better.

Experience

3 years: A minimum of three years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, material handling or order fulfillment preferred.
