Job summary

SERVPRO Industries, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I to support all franchise and corporate warehouse order fulfillment. The role includes receiving, storing and distributing materials, tools, and products, with emphasis on accuracy and timely shipping within required timelines.

Lean toward cross-training in all warehouse departments to meet daily order demands and to ship same-day when possible. Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

• Strong written and verbal communication with employees, customers and suppliers.
• Ability to read, write and converse in a clear, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all franchise and in-house parcel and freight orders accurately and timely (pick, pack, wrap, label, load, and ship).
• Perform daily cycle counts as well as restock, rotate, and safeguard inventory items.
• Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the franchise/customer experience.
• Perform daily housekeeping to ensure warehouse is maintained for a clean and safe working environment.
• Provide divisional support outside of stated role as needed. Work with department managers to ensure shared resources are available to meet divisional and corporate goals
• Deploy as needed in support of mobile general store or annual convention activities.
• Assists warehouse management in support of achieving daily duties.
• Supports a continuous improvement attitude and environment.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant I supports all franchise and corporate warehouse order fulfillment needs. This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. Will be trained to work efficiently in all departments within the warehouse to be able to meet the daily requirement of all orders printed or requested within required timeline are completed and shipped same-day.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. Ability to lift, push, or move up to 75 lbs. individually.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED with one year work related experience in a warehouse environment.
