Job summary

Dayton T. Brown, Inc. seeks an on-site Warehouse Assistant in Hollywood, MD, to support shipping/receiving, inventory, and light assembly tasks.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in similar environments; forklift operation may be needed, and candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Qualifications

• Min. of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Min 2+ yrs. experience working in similar environment.
• Must be able to drive a box truck, as needed.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
• Computer aptitude is a must.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, team-oriented, and follow detailed directions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
• Must have multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Attention to detail required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Pulling itemized stock for customer delivery or preparation for shipment.
• Receiving utilizing our software/computer programs.
• Receiving, stocking, and capturing inventory.
• Computer work in both Shipping and Receiving.
• Light assembly work.
• Forklift driving.
• Kitting jobs for production workers and customers.
• Maintain, organize, and keep a clean warehouse working environment.
