We\'re seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse and shop operations, ensuring that field teams are supported with the right materials, tools, and equipment — at the right time.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and shop activities, including inventory control, material handling, equipment management, deliveries, and workflow coordination to support field operations.

This role requires strong organization, leadership, and communication skills to keep materials moving efficiently between vendors, the shop, and active job sites. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse and shop operations.
  • Receive, organize, and track materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Prepare and stage materials for field crews and job sites.
  • Coordinate deliveries and pickups with drivers, vendors, and field teams.
  • Keep the warehouse, shop, and yard clean, safe, and well organized.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and tool/equipment logs.
  • Ensure materials and tools are returned and in good working order.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and field supervisors.
  • Assist with light fabrication or material prep when needed.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on safety and respect.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shop operations (construction or mechanical trades).
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with basic inventory tracking systems or ERP software is a plus.
  • Valid driver\'s license with a clean record; CDL helpful but not required.
  • Forklift operation experience but not required (training available).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in an active warehouse and yard environment.
