Job summary

Brava Roof Tile is seeking a Warehouse Assistant for our Washington, IA plant. You will safely move materials, load/unload shipments, and operate forklift equipment while ensuring accurate inventory records. Team collaboration and strict adherence to safety policies are essential.

The role includes staging, wrapping, and auditing pallets, plus helping with postproduction area cleaning and relabeling orders as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks safely.
• Experience with forklifts is preferred or demonstrated ability to learn.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Able to work well in a team and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments, move material throughout the facility.
• Operate forklift or similar equipment safely in production areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and housekeeping.
• Assist in packing, staging, and auditing as needed by supervision.
• Support postproduction area cleaning and general duties as assigned.
• Relabel and repack orders when instructed by supervisor.

# Warehouse AssistantHot JobWashington Plant - Washington, IA 52353## OverviewSalary Range$19.50 - $24.50 HourlyPosition TypeFull TimeJob Shift1st Shift## DescriptionThe Warehouse Assistant is responsible for safety and efficiently moving material and products throughout the facility. This includes loading and unloading shipments, operating forklifts, or other equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team. Qualities & Responsibilities: * Safely operate industrial motorized equipment in an enclosed and tight work environment* Loading and unloading of van trailers and flatbeds when needed* Follow all established safety policies and procedures.* Stage corrects material in warehouse as instructed* Removal of trash and regrind to appropriate areas as instructed.* Cross training in Pack Out area to be able to help with the wrapping and staging of completed pallets ready for the Shipping department as well as auditing for accuracy when required* Responsible for helping with house cleaning in Postproduction Area* Ability to relabel and repack orders are instructed by supervisor* Other duties as assigned.## Qualifications**Required Skills/Abilities:*** Ability to lift 50 lbs.* Fork truck experience preferred.* Good understanding of safe practices* Good organization and housekeeping skills* Ability to proficiently and safely use a fork truck to transport raw and finished product throughout the production facility.**Requirements:*** Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various items.* Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force frequently.* Frequently required to stand and walk.* Education and Experience:* High School Diploma or GED**Schedule:*** Tuesday thru Saturday 8 am to 5 pm
