Job summary

Lifeline Queensland, part of a national network, is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support our charity retail operation in Molendinar. This casual role involves operating a baling machine, moving stock and assisting with loading shipments to ensure smooth production flow.

You'll be part of a team at Lifeline's distribution centre, contributing to a cause- driven mission while gaining hands-on warehouse experience and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit with the ability to lift, stand and walk regularly.
• Forklift licence and prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively to meet deadlines and team goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate baling machine to support export production and storage of goods.
• Move crates to provide a continual stock supply for production.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Pack rags to standard for dispatch.
• Maintain work stations and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Record paperwork accurately on a daily basis.

Remuneration: $35.40 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging ( s ave tax and increase your take home pay )

Your part in our Lifeline team

• Operate baling machine to support export production and facilitate the storage of goods
• Manually move crates/items to ensure that the process line has a continual supply of stock for production
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers
• Pack rags to operational standards in preparation for dispatch
• Maintain work stations and storage areas in a clean and tidy manner
• Ensure equipment is maintained in a fully operational condition and report any maintenance or safety issues to relevant supervisor
• Ensure all paperwork relative to your role is recorded accurately and on a daily basis

Important

The inherent requirements of this role are physically demanding you will need to be physically fit with the capability to complete tasks that require regular lifting, standing and walking .
