Job summary

Sutter Home & Hearth in Seattle is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to help keep our warehouse and inventory squared away. You will receive, check, and put away shipments, stage product for installs, deliveries and pickups, and assist customers loading orders.

The role requires organization, reliability, and comfort with computers. Forklift operation and driving duties are part of the job, with training provided to support our sales and service teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfort with computers and basic software usage.
• Willingness to learn and work well in a team.
• Forklift or delivery experience is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and put away shipments.
• Stage product for installs, deliveries and pickups.

• Run forklift and pallet jack, load trucks as needed.

A well organized and flowing warehouse is a critical part of doing our work well and we’re looking for an organized, dependable Warehouse Assistant to help keep our warehouse and inventory squared away. The warehouse assistant helps keep the warehouse and all of its products, parts, and supplies organized and makes sure that they are moving to the places needed by our crews. They also make sure the facility and grounds are in good order giving further support to the sales, service, and installation teams. You’ll be joining a diverse team of people from all walks of life and backgrounds who are unified by providing unrivaled personal service to our customers and to each other. What you’ll do
