Base pay range
$22.50/hr - $24.50/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch)
Rate of Pay: $22.50-24.50 per hour DOE
Hiring Bonus: $1,500 ($750 after 3 months, $750 after 6 months)
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required****
Job Overview
Join our dynamic team at Copiers Northwest as a Warehouse Assistant! This entry-level role supports the Operations, Service, and Sales teams, with a focus on high-volume picking and shipping. You'll report to the Portland Warehouse Supervisor and be cross-trained in a variety of warehouse functions. A great opportunity to grow with a supportive team in a stable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack and ship orders
- Load and unload trucks; verify and sign Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Adapt to new duties and procedures in a dynamic work environment
- Clear verbal and written communications
- Prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Support organizational values and goals, independently and collaboratively
- Be positive and professional
- Maintain punctual and consistent attendance
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of work experience (part-time or full-time)
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Basic computer and phone skills (email, Microsoft Office)
- Experience in document solutions or office equipment industry is a plus, but not required
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Read and comprehend technical documents
- Dress appropriately, according to warehouse standards
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Hear auditory alarms
- Must be able to work occasional early mornings or evenings
