Job summary

IQAir is seeking a Warehouse Assistant at our North American headquarters in La Mirada, California. The role supports multiple departments to ensure a 100% positive customer and employee experience in a warehouse setting.

Ideal candidates communicate well in English, have a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make accurate repairs and box items as needed.
• Prepare receipt of goods and restock items; move items by hand or with dollies/pallet jack.
• Receive products, inspect shipments, and unload deliveries.
• Read packing slips and shipping instructions; fulfill and ship orders.
• Label, sort, and load/unload items and boxes.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and stocked with supplies and tools.
• Wear proper safety equipment at all times.
• Conduct cycle counts of inventory.
• Assemble kits or sales packets.
• Assist with daily storage of company vehicles.
• Take on other projects as assigned.

For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Assistant.

Summary

This position provides warehouse support to various departments within the company in support of IQAir’s 100% positive customer and employee experience commitment. Duties are performed in adherence with IQAir Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate repairs & box items, as needed
• Prepare receipt of goods and restock items as needed. This process involves the moving of product or materials by hand, dollies or manual pallet jack.
• Receive products, inspect shipments, unload trucks or container deliveries
• Read packing slips and shipping instructions
• Accurately fulfill and ship ordersLabeling, sorting and loading/unloading of items and boxes.
• Organize and clean the warehouse area and ensure repair benches and work areas are neat, safe and properly stocked with necessary supplies and tools at all times.
• Wearing of proper safety equipment is required.
• Cycle count of inventory
• Assembling kits or sales packets
• Assist with daily storage of company vehicles
• Other projects as assigned

Other Requirements

May be required to attend and participate in professional development activities both in and outside the company to stay abreast of new developments and best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly stand, walk and lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Typing 35-40 WPM (min)
• Able to successfully complete pre-employment drug and background screen.

At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is between $20 and $25 hourly and most new hires start at $20 an hour. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications and experience.
