EOS IT Solutions in Newark, CA is seeking an ITL Asset Technician to bridge warehouse operations with hands-on IT support, hardware diagnostics, and repair coordination. This role combines logistics expertise with IT hardware and software support across macOS and Windows environments.

You will lead asset teams, manage repair timelines, and ensure accurate inventory while supporting regional logistics and customer portals with real-time updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead standard creation and ensure adherence across asset technician teams.
• Act as escalation point for process, technical, and operational queries.
• Provide hardware support for Apple and Windows devices.
• Deliver software support across macOS and Windows (Boot Camp/Parallels).
• Triage assets, diagnose issues, and recommend repairs.
• Troubleshoot internal systems and resolve operational challenges.
• Manage repair timelines and ensure high-quality completion.
• Compile repair data and provide performance reporting to management.
• Maintain asset tracking and update customer portals in real time.
• Prepare assets for shipment and coordinate with couriers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock inbound shipments; assist warehouse handling.
• Conduct cycle counts and support inventory audits.
• Collaborate with regional/global inventory teams for alignment.
• Support new hire equipment deployment and regional logistics.
• Oversee e-waste processing and proper disposal practices.
• Travel to customer sites within the region for urgent requests.
• Maintain data integrity and work well in a fast-paced team.

As an ITL Asset Technician, you will play a critical role in bridging warehouse operations with hands-on technical support. This position combines logistics expertise with IT hardware diagnostics, repair coordination, and team leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced, high impact environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead standard creation and ensure adherence across global asset technician teams
• Act as a point of escalation for process, technical, and operational queries
• Provide hardware support for a wide range of devices, including Apple and Windows products
• Deliver software support across macOS and Windows environments (including Boot Camp and Parallels)
• Triage assets and diagnose hardware or cosmetic issues, recommending appropriate repairs
• Troubleshoot internal systems and resolve day-to-day operational challenges
• Manage repair timelines, partner deadlines, and ensure high-quality completion standards
• Compile repair data and provide performance reporting to management
• Maintain accurate asset tracking and update customer portals with real-time status
• Prepare assets for shipment, including picking, packing, labeling, and coordinating with couriers
• Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments; stock inventory appropriately
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments and warehouse material handling
• Conduct cycle counts and support ongoing inventory audits
• Partner with regional and global inventory teams for alignment and process consistency
• Support new hire equipment deployment and regional logistics coordination
• Oversee e-waste processing, donation logistics, and proper disposal practices
• Travel to customer sites within the region for urgent technical or logistical requests
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while maintaining high data integrity standards
• Take on additional tasks or special projects as assigned by site leadership

What You Need to Succeed

• Previous experience leading or mentoring a team in a fast-paced or high-demand environment
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, IT support, or hardware repair (preferred)
• Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn device repair and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Apple and Windows operating systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets)
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and make quick decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and customer needs
• Comfortable being hands-on with inventory, equipment handling, and warehouse operations
• Ability to lift and move equipment in a warehouse environment

Desirable Skills

• Experience with inventory management or asset tracking systems
• Background in IT hardware repair or technical environments
• Knowledge of global logistics or multi-region operations
• Experience working with ticketing or queue management systems
