Description

This position is responsible for preparing sub-assemblies and finished products according to blueprints and customers' specifications, using hand and air tools.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Able to assemble products and operate equipment involved such as hand tools, air tools, and possible woodworking machinery.
• Identify and select correct tooling/hardware for the job task with set-up documents or lead/supervisor assistance.
• Report any production and/or equipment issues to lead/supervisor or quality.
• Must be willing to learn and operate/assemble all products in the department.
• Has the ability to read blueprints.
• Has the ability to understand basic wiring diagrams and connection points called out on blueprints or models.
• Safely move materials using forklift (if certified by Multilink) and/or pallet jack.
• Cleans and maintains an orderly work area.
• Communicate and assist other individuals in areas when needed and have been fully trained.

Education and Experience:

• H.S. Diploma and/or manufacturing experience required.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measure, and other shop drawing aids and equipment.
• Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to work with various types of assembly constraints with guidance.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, push and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently.
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day.
• Close mental and visual attention required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Work Site Environment:

• Ability to work in a 55–85-degree Fahrenheit work environment.

Payrate: $14.50 + Benefits
