Job summary

Muncie Power Products in Muncie, IN is seeking a Warehouse/Assembler to perform mechanical production assembly, packing, and shipment preparation. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, table saw, and hose crimper while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy, following standard work instructions.

Key tasks include assembling hose components, preparing shipments, and supporting inventory control in a 5-day on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Legible handwriting and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with flexibility to adapt to changing tasks.
• Ability to work well with others in a team.
• Experience operating forklift and pallet jack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical production assembly including cutting, cleaning, fittings, crimping, sealing, labeling, and packaging hose assemblies per customer specifications.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment, document shipments, and verify accuracy of weights.
• Pull materials from stock using forklift or pallet jack and load/unload trucks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and keep the work area safe and orderly.
• Operate table saw and hose crimper and use basic hand tools as directed.
• Follow work instructions and meet daily assembly requirements.
