UnitedUnited is the leading beverage alcohol wholesaler in Georgia and Alabama. We seek a Warehouse Area Supervisor to lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure accurate inventory, and drive on-time order fulfillment.

You will train staff, monitor performance, and collaborate across teams to meet nightly goals in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring leadership, a background in warehouse operations, and comfort with handheld devices; some lifting and shift flexibility are involved.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or HS diploma with 3+ years logistics experience.
• Experience in warehouse operations and related processes.
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of the company and products.
• Working knowledge of computerized handheld devices.
• Flexible to work additional hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of warehouse associates overseeing inventory, staging, rotation, and order fulfillment.
• Train, develop, evaluate and motivate team to achieve goals.
• Define expectations, monitor progress, and assign work as needed.
• Maintain productivity and ensure programs and volume targets are met.
• Investigate problems and take corrective action.
• Facilitate team meetings and forecast staffing needs.
• Perform other duties and cover for associates when required.

Area Supervisor will help train new associates on the requirements of the job including but not limited to: inventory control, product knowledge, product rotation, proper picking, Company policies and procedures, and using the Company’s computer systems.
