Job summary

UnitedUnited is seeking a Delivery Route Assistant to support drivers in delivering orders to customers across Georgia and Alabama. You will load and unload products, verify shipments, and rotate stock while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include helping with directions, obtaining signatures, and adhering to DOT standards. This role requires flexibility, good math skills, and reliable, safe driving practices on assigned routes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
• State minimum auto-liability insurance.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to maintain these minimum administrative driving requirements throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Route Assistant assists drivers in the delivery of products to customers, loading and unloading, and rotating stocked accounts.
• Build and ensure excellent customer service by delivering orders on time and in good condition, politely and professionally.
• Help the driver with directions, ensure packages are counted and signatures obtained, and report variances.
• Assist in complying with Department of Transportation standards and regulations and maintain safe driving performance.
• Unloading and delivering products at stops, verify count/condition, and report overages, shortages, or damage.
• Report customer needs to the driver and participate in delivering resolutions; learn routes and customer expectations.
