Job summary

Griffith Foods is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor for our Avon, OH site. You will lead shipping, receiving, inventory control and a team of warehouse staff to achieve efficient operations and accurate inventories.

You’ll coordinate logistics with carriers and optimize processes while ensuring safety, GMP/GWP compliance and timely reporting to management. Onsite five days a week with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5 years of warehouse shipping, receiving and logistics experience.
• 2 years in warehouse operations in a food manufacturing setting.
• 2 years with GMPs and GWPs.
• 2 years of experience in MRP/ERP and warehouse software; proficient with MS 360.
• Forklift certification (sit-down, standup, OP, electrical pallet jacks).
• Ability to read, write and speak English; onsite in Avon, OH five days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse operations: shipping, receiving, staging, and inventory.
• Coordinate logistics, third-party carriers, and transport activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via cycles counts and FIFO/FEFO.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in warehouse areas.
• Drive continuous improvement and report KPI results to management.
• Manage resources, staffing, supplies, and system implementations.

Griffith Foods is hiring a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate shipping, receiving, logistics, and warehouse operations at our Avon, OH location, ensuring efficient workflow and inventory accuracy, providing supervision to warehouse staff to support operational goals.

This is your opportunity to be at the center of warehouse and logistics operations, where your leadership directly impacts efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. You’ll take ownership of critical processes across shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations while leading and developing a team of warehouse professionals.

As a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, staging, inventory management, and supervision of warehouse personnel.
• Coordinating logistics, transportation, and third-party warehouse/carrier activities to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through electronic transactions, cycle counts, physical inventories, and adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and regulatory standards while keeping warehouse areas audit ready.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, monitoring key performance metrics, and communicating operational results to management.
• Managing warehouse resources, including staffing, timekeeping, shipping supplies, coolers/freezers, and support for warehouse-related system implementations.

Qualified candidates will have:

• High School Diploma with 5 years of Warehouse Shipping, Receiving and Logistics experience
• 2 years experience in Warehouse Shipping, Receiving and Logistics in the Food Manufacturing Industry.
• 2 years of experience with GMPs and GWPs
• 2 years of experience in MRP/ERP and Warehouse Software, and Microsoft 360 Suite.
• Forklift Driver certification (Sit-down, standup, OP, electrical pallet jacks)
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Willingness to work onsite in AVON, OH 5 days per week
• Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
