Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5 years of Warehouse Shipping, Receiving and Logistics experience.
• 2 years in Food Manufacturing Industry for Warehouse Shipping, Receiving and Logistics.
• 2 years with GMPs and GWPs in compliance contexts.
• 2 years in MRP/ERP and Warehouse Software, and Microsoft 360 Suite.
• Forklift Driver certification (Sit-down, standup, OP, electrical pallet jacks).
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to work onsite in AVON, OH 5 days per week.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, staging, inventory, and supervision of personnel.
• Coordinate logistics, transportation, and third-party activities for cost-effective movement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via electronic transactions, cycle counts, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Ensure safety, quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance; keep audit-ready.
• Drive continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, and report results to management.
• Manage warehouse resources including staffing, timekeeping, supplies, and system implementations.

TITLE: Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor

LOCATION: Onsite in Avon, OH

COMP RANGE: $72,000-$107,000 annual

Griffith Foods is hiring a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate shipping, receiving, logistics, and warehouse operations at our Avon, OH location, ensuring efficient workflow and inventory accuracy, providing supervision to warehouse staff to support operational goals.

This is your opportunity to be at the center of warehouse and logistics operations, where your leadership directly impacts efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. You'll take ownership of critical processes across shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations while leading and developing a team of warehouse professionals.

As a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, staging, inventory management, and supervision of warehouse personnel.
• Coordinating logistics, transportation, and third-party warehouse/carrier activities to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through electronic transactions, cycle counts, physical inventories, and adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and regulatory standards while keeping warehouse areas audit ready.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, monitoring key performance metrics, and communicating operational results to management.
• Managing warehouse resources, including staffing, timekeeping, shipping supplies, coolers/freezers, and support for warehouse-related system implementations.

• 2 years of experience with GMPs and GWPs
• 2 years of experience in MRP/ERP and Warehouse Software, and Microsoft 360 Suite.
