Job summary

MEPPI is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead warehouse, transportation, inventory management and 3PL operations for CPSD. You will drive operational excellence, improve material flow and inventory accuracy, and implement scalable distribution strategies to support growth.

You will develop and monitor KPIs, collaborate across Supply Chain and Manufacturing, and lead Lean initiatives while ensuring safety, compliance and budget discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering; 7+ years warehouse experience and 3+ years management.
• Experience in warehouse distribution, inventory control and logistics operations.
• Proven leadership and team development.
• Lean principles, process optimization and warehouse efficiency knowledge.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse, transportation, distribution and 3PL operations to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods.
• Develop and implement warehouse and logistics strategies to improve inventory accuracy and service levels.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and scorecards for safety, productivity, inventory, delivery and logistics costs.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs through performance reviews and continuous improvement.
• Drive Lean initiatives, 5S, waste reduction and process optimization.
• Optimize layouts, inventory control, material handling, and kitting to support schedules and on-time shipments.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse staff through training and performance management.
• Ensure safety standards, SOPs, equipment maintenance and employee qualifications are met.
• Oversee budgets, staffing plans and capital projects to boost productivity and cost performance.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and other stakeholders to enable growth.

Warehouse & Logistics Manager Join the MEPPI Team Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc MEPPI is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead warehouse transportation inventory management and third party logistics 3PL operations for our Critical Power Solutions Division CPSD In this role you will drive operational excellence improve material flow and inventory accuracy and implement scalable warehouse and distribution strategies to support continued business growth

What Youll Do

• Warehouse & Logistics Operations Lead warehouse transportation distribution and third party logistics 3PL operations to ensure safe efficient and cost effective movement of materials and finished goods
• Operational Strategy Develop and implement warehouse and logistics strategies that improve inventory accuracy operational efficiency service levels and scalability
• Performance Management Establish and monitor key performance indicators KPIs and scorecards to evaluate safety productivity inventory management delivery performance and logistics costs
• 3PL Management Manage relationships with third party logistics providers through performance reviews service expectations and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lean & Continuous Improvement Drive initiatives focused on 5S visual management waste reduction process optimization and structured problem solving
• Inventory & Material Flow Optimize warehouse layouts inventory control material handling and kitting processes to support production schedules and on time shipments
• Team Leadership & Development Lead coach and develop warehouse and logistics employees through training cross training performance management and employee development initiatives
• Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to safety standards operating procedures equipment maintenance requirements and employee qualification programs
• Budget & Resource Management Oversee warehouse budgets staffing plans capital projects and operational improvement initiatives to enhance productivity quality and cost performance
• Cross Functional Collaboration Partner with Supply Chain Operations Manufacturing and other internal stakeholders to support business objectives and future growth

What Youll Bring

• Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of warehouse experience and 3 years of management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Warehouse & Logistics Expertise Demonstrated experience managing warehouse distribution inventory control and logistics operations
• Leadership Experience Proven ability to manage employees develop high performing teams and drive operational accountability
• Continuous Improvement Knowledge of Lean principles process optimization and warehouse efficiency improvement practices
• Technical Proficiency Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Material Requirements Planning MRP Enterprise Resource Planning ERP systems
• Communication Skills Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with employees customers vendors and cross functional teams
