Warehouse and Delivery Driver - Ska Distributing- NON CDL

Reports To: Ska Distributing Sales Manager

About the Job: In this position, you will be responsible for the timely, safe and efficient delivery of all products from our portfolio to both on premise and off premise accounts in the Telluride, Ridgway and Ouray area. You also will assist with some deliveries in the Durango area as needed. You will be an expert on all of our products and uphold the level of customer service our distribution company requires. Additionally, you will be responsible for transporting product between World Headquarters and our warehouse and assist with other warehousing duties. This is a non-exempt position. Wage Range: $18-19/hour.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver beer safely and accurately to numerous accounts using delivery trucks and hand trucks
2. Maintain and enhance relationships with our existing accounts
3. Communicate any out-of-stock issues to the sales department
4. Remove any left-over product and trash from delivery trucks at the end of the day
5. Report problems with beer or draft equipment to the Sales Manager or Director of Operations at Ska Brewing
6. Partner with the Maintenance Dept. to fix any issues with the company’s vehicles
7. Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle
8. Assist the Warehouse Guru in keeping the Chilly warehouse clean and organized
9. Accurately adjust customer invoices when needed
10. Weekly/daily rotation of shelf/backroom stock in accounts
11. Assist with building displays and place point of sale items in accounts when needed
12. Remove and report any out of date product
13. Perform daily vehicle inspections prior to routes
14. Transport product and packaging materials between warehouses
15. Load and unload both inbound and outbound trucks as needed
16. Be a positive representative of the company at all times

Our Ideal Candidate:

1. Must be over 21 years of age and possess basic math skills
2. Knowledge of beer industry and draft systems desired
3. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and with minimal supervision
4. Repetitive lifting of up to 165 lbs., bending, pulling and pushing
5. Able to twist, turn, crouch, and squat repeatedly throughout the workday
6. Must have a clean driving record
7. Excellent understanding and appreciation of customer service
8. Must communicate well, work well with others and have a positive attitude
9. Must be able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
10. Must have great communication and organization skills
