Job summary

Heritage Pool Supply Group, based in Rockwall, TX, is seeking a Warehouse Associate Non-CDL Driver. The role focuses on safe vehicle operation, loading/unloading, and timely deliveries within a distribution setting.

You will use warehouse software, handheld devices, and computer systems to manage tasks, while maintaining logs and driving diligently to meet schedules. Physical effort and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years driving experience

Job description

Position Purpose

The Warehouse Associate Non-CDL Driver for Heritage Pool Supply Group is responsible for performing essential warehouse duties and operating a vehicle for transporting goods, products, or materials to various destinations without the need for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a non-CDL vehicle ensuring all products, goods, or materials are transported to their destinations.
• Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
• Load and unload vehicle as required.
• Follow delivery schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during the delivery and pick-up operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
• Working in a Distribution setting.
• Comfortable using a computer to perform daily tasks.
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Software, Shipping Software, Email, and other related applications.
• Familiar with using handheld devices such as sanners and tablets.

Direct Manager

Direct Reports: This position will report directly to the Branch Manager and has no direct reports.

Travel Requirements

This position may require daily local travel with the occasional need for daily long-distance travel. No over-night travel.

Physical Requirements

This role involves regular physical activity including lifting, loading and unloading goods and long hours of driving. Candidates must be physically fit and able to frequently lift up to 100lbs. Assisting Customers with loading of equipment and products.

Working Conditions

Drivers will work in a variety of weather conditions and must be comfortable driving in these conditions. This role will require working in the warehouse and deliveries as needed on a daily basis. Working varying hours scheduled on a daily basis. Working scheduled and unscheduled overtime as required. Working Saturday. The work location for this position will be Rockwall, Texas.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Texas Class C Driver License.
• Clean driving record.
• Clean Criminal History.
• Ability to complte all training related to job function.
• Familiarity with using navigation systems.
• Proficiency in English required for communication regarding safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in driving or logistics preferred.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Minimum Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Preferred Education

A vocational or technical degree in transportation or related field is preferred.

Minimum Years Of Work Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant driving experience.

Certifications

No particular certifications required, but certifications in First Aid, CPR, or Safety Training would be advantageous.
