Job description

Description

Safe Life is one of the fastest-growing providers of AEDs and life-saving readiness programs, united by a clear mission: helping communities Prevent Heartbreak. We deliver more than products - we provide end-to-end programs that combine equipment, training, and compliance support to keep organizations rescue-ready.

Safe Life US company is seeking a strategic, detail oriented and reliable Manager of Mergers and Acquisition to join our growing team! This is a unique moment to join us. We’re scaling rapidly, investing in our people, and building a high-performing team focused on real impact. If you’re looking for work that challenges you and truly matters, you’ll find it here.

The ALS Operations Coordinator owns the operational flow of Advanced Life Support (ALS) orders from order handoff through final shipment, working closely with Order Management, Receiving, BioMed, Production, Warehouse Operations, and Shipping.

This is a hands-on, floor-based role, not a desk job. The coordinator spends the majority of the shift on their feet in the warehouse and production areas: physically inspecting ALS units, cleaning and sanitizing devices, unpacking incoming shipments, and sorting cables and components, while also catching order errors before they ship. Success comes from developing deep product knowledge, holding cross-functional partners accountable, and keeping ALS orders moving accurately and on schedule. The coordinator serves as the primary Operations point of contact for ALS orders and ensures work enters production correctly and in the right sequence.

Key Responsibilities
Process Ownership & Order Coordination
  • Manage the ALS operational workflow from order handoff through final shipment, maintaining visibility and accountability throughout the process.
  • Coordinate ALS production priorities across Order Management, Receiving, BioMed, Production, Warehouse Operations, and Shipping.
  • Monitor open ALS orders, proactively identify constraints or delays, and drive issues to resolution with the appropriate functional owner.
  • Balance customer priorities with inventory availability, production capacity, operational requirements, and established processes.
Hands-On Device & Inventory Handling
  • Physically inspect incoming ALS units and components for damage, missing parts, or configuration accuracy.
  • Clean and sanitize devices and equipment using bleach, alcohol, or other approved cleaning solutions per established protocols.
  • Unpack incoming boxes and pallets, and sort and organize cables, accessories, and components as part of daily inventory handling.
  • Move throughout the warehouse and production floor as needed to inspect units, coordinate with teams, and keep orders moving.
Order Quality & Issue Resolution
  • Review ALS orders for operational readiness and identify incorrect, incomplete, or conflicting information before production begins, such as an incorrect sensor or defibrillator pad on a Sales Order, before the order ships.
  • Communicate order-entry issues to the appropriate owner and ensure required corrections are completed before the order proceeds through Operations.
  • Maintain clear ownership between Sales and Operations by escalating upstream order-entry issues rather than correcting them within the operational process.
  • Identify recurring process failures and opportunities to improve order accuracy, production efficiency, and the overall ALS workflow.
Product Knowledge & Systems
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of ALS products, configurations, accessories, and processes to ensure customers receive the correct configuration efficiently and accurately.
  • Work closely with the BioMed team to ensure the correct devices are being rectified and configured in the appropriate sequence based on established priorities.
  • Create and maintain ALS items, Bills of Materials (BOMs), device configurations, and package structures within the ERP system.
  • Serve as the primary Operations point of contact for ALS orders and communicate effectively with Sales regarding order status, requirements, priorities, and issues.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail, both in physically inspecting units and in reviewing Sales Order details closely enough to catch errors, such as an incorrect sensor or defibrillator pad, before an order ships.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Must be based in or able to reliably commute to Brentwood, TN.
  • Experience managing multiple open orders, priorities, or deadlines at the same time within a production, warehouse, or order management setting.
  • Experience catching order entry errors before they ship, such as an incorrect sensor, defibrillator pad, or device configuration, through careful review of Sales Order details.
  • Experience communicating directly with sales, operations, and technical teams to resolve order or product issues.
  • Experience identifying incorrect, incomplete, or conflicting order information and escalating it to the correct team for correction.
  • Experience working within an ERP, inventory management, or similar business system (e.g., Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP, or comparable platform).
  • Experience creating or maintaining item data, product configurations, or Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Experience making day-to-day operational decisions independently and knowing when to escape an issue rather than resolve it directly.
  • Experience meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the majority of a shift; this role is active and moves frequently across the warehouse and production floor.
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes and equipment, up to approximately 40 lbs, as part of unpacking and handling incoming shipments.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and handle small components and cables during inspection, sorting, and cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to safely work with cleaning solutions such as bleach and alcohol per established safety protocols.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and in person; strong communication is a core function of this role and clear, professional communication is required across Sales, Operations, and technical teams.
