The Warehouse Agent manages inventory, organizes shipments, and ensures accurate documentation in a climate-controlled warehouse setting. Responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. This role ensures proper storage, inventory control and timely shipment of products.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Receive, asset tag and stock inventory, process returns from field and work unmatched receipts.
- Monitor and manage shipments and expedite exceptions with carriers.
- Work logistics tickets assigned by the supervisor.
- Work within GTT systems to properly manage the announcement of shipments to third party locations.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organizing and storing products in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Processing orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficiency and safety.
Required Experience / Qualifications :
- 5 years’ experience in high volume environment, preferable in the telecommunication industry
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
- Ability to handle up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work effectively with minimal management direction in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with focus on exceptional customer service
- Must be able to commute daily to the Austin, TX facility
- Proficiency with MS Excel desirable
- Normal core business hours M-F, no travel
