Job summary

Air Inuit in La Grande is seeking a Warehouse Agent to manage daily warehouse operations, handling reception, storage and shipment of merchandise.

You will organize the warehouse, load prep, support aircraft loading, prepare flight documents and handle cargo reception, distribution, and forklift operation.

We value a high school diploma, bilingual in English/Inuktitut or French/Inuktitut, reliability, a valid driver's license, and availability for evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Inuktitut or French/Inuktitut or French/English.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure in a physically challenging environment.
• Hold a valid driving license.
• Available to work evenings, nights and weekends.
• If the position is not filled locally, the candidate will be considered as having no specific base.

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Agent at Air Inuit, you will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations in La Grande. You will play a role in the reception, storage and shipment of merchandise.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure in a physically challenging environment;

Compensation

• Salary and benefits are determined according to company policy.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Rotational position: 15 days on and 13 days off
• Air transport from Montreal as well as accommodation and meals are covered by the company for each rotation.
• The employee will be recognized as not having a designated base.
