Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Customer Service Associate in Fairburn, GA. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a pathway to growth within a safety‑driven supply chain environment.

You will handle administrative tasks, coordinate shipments, assist customers and carriers, and support export paperwork while using WMS systems and basic MS Office tools. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a clerk in a warehouse/distribution environment performing duties such as transportation coordination, inventory, shipping/receiving, coordinating with various carriers, vendor and customers strongly preferred.
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder.
• Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of WMS systems preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs adminstrative tasks for area or shift.
• Maintains filing systems and documents per SOP.
• Interacts with customers and contractors, answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by the carrier, and damage claims.
• Coordinates processing of export orders, filling out export paperwork, generates export labels, maintaining export paperwork.
• Processes returns in WMS and maintains paperwork.
• Pallet management: orders CHEP and white wood pallets for the site, conducts reconciliation of pallet count, researches large pallet system variances.
• Using WMS, updates area or shift metrics as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
