Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Material Handler in College Park, GA to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow within a safe and well-managed facility that prioritizes safety and teamwork.

You will operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks, handle HVAC parts and batteries, and support shipping, receiving, and cycle counting in a clean, organized environment. Training is provided and schedules are for weekdays with consistent hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Manage day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract 
• Performs other duty as assigned.
