Job summary

Core-Mark International in Ohio is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move product from trailers to dock areas, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while maintaining efficient flow through the warehouse.

Join a team with early start times and competitive pay. Forklift certification is preferred or obtainable on the job. This hourly position starts at $18 per hour with Day 1 benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to obtain certifications for powered equipment such as forklift operation.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers, if necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Monday- Thursday 5am start times
• Pay Rate $18 per hr
  

Position Summary

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities

• Check product for damages and alert recievers, if necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
• Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Compensation

$18
